Moonee Ponds

Amity Building Group was appointed to refurbish Moonee Ponds West Primary School. This project involved the construction of two new landscape zones, the refurbishment of existing classrooms, administrative areas, library and associated site works.

The staged project was delivered across the entire school campus and occupied different areas at different stages of construction. Coordination between the school and the schools’ stakeholders was critical to operational outcomes, with the school requiring full access to learning spaces throughout the project. Out of hours programming of sensitive and disruptive works ensured the impact to the school community was minimised. The project delivered five new teaching and learning environments to the school whilst maintaining the heritage fabric of the buildings.
